i tried installing greator 4/cd writer.
i know there is a known compatibility problem with xp.
system locked up and now does not recognize my cd-rom.
have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the
hardware and the drivers.
system indicates hardware was not installed properly and
or that the software may be corrupt.
can any one help????????

Do you mean EZCD Creator v4.... it's not compatible with XP.
