An odd issue is happening on a Dell Dimension. When I have more than one
program open while a CD is in the drive the CD door will not open. I also
can not right-click on the drive and eject it. If I close all of the
programs it will allow me to eject. None of my programs are using the files
on the drive when this happens. I also had a CD that was spinning out of
control in the drive. When I opened it and closed it again all of the files
were gone and the CD-RW reported that it was completely full. I did get the
blue screen of death a few times but have run a repair install of XP Pro
since. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
