CD-ROM DRIVE NOT FOUND REGISTRY CORRUPT

's Computer Specifications

I have a CD-ROM Drive that my windows 2000 can't find. I
have tried to install the device every which way possible
and still no results. The error reads as follows: "Your
registry might be corrupted. (Code 19)" If anyone knows
how to fix this please let me know. Thank you in advance!
