CD-ROM drive doesn't refresh content

My explorer doesn't auto-refresh my CD-ROM content. (My
auto-notification is off) But even if i press F5, the
label and the content from the OLD cd remains on the
explorer. The only way i could rectify this is to right
click the CD-ROM drive, select Properties and then click
OK for each new CD i insert. Why does this problem arise??
