cd-rom doesn't recognize cr-rw disc.

's Computer Specifications

I have a Hp pavilion Ze5155 with a cd-rom(toshiba sd-r2312).
It cannot recognize a cd-rw disc at all.
Is it a normal or need to update the drive ?

's Computer Specifications

Look for updated firmware on HP's site. I've had to do this with other
cd-roms and dvd drives.
