Same problem as anazeal though as stated mine seems fine when reading dvd's even though its a combi dvd/cd rw drive. Driver seems okay, hardware reportedly working okaty (although this is a downright lie). The log states The device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block. Help me as i am far too poor to pay for advice or get my notebook looked over by the techies.
