cd rom cannot read all contents of the cd

's Computer Specifications

whenever i insert a cd for the first time in the drive i can see all its
contents but if i reinsert it a few folders are not visible

i dont know what the problem could be but it not the usb flash drive like
the other posts said cause i dont have a flash drive

Hi,

Is it happened on any CD inserted or just the specified CD?
Is it a CDR, CD/RW or audio CD?
What kind of files are on the CD, vedio/audio/picture/text or mixed contents?

Pls post back with more info.
