CD ROM burner

I used Windoes Explorer to burn CDs.....it would keep them
and pop a buble telling me that there were files waiting to
be written. One day it stopped working, now all I get is
"e:\ is not accessable. Incorrect function." I can read a
cd, but cannot write. The CD does not appear when I right
click a file and use "send to". Sony is of no help and
bill gates just wants to blame Roxio, which I have never
installed.
