CD-ROM Boost I/O Error

My CD-ROM drive works normal in W2K. But when I booted
from it (with W2K CD-ROM), I had an error: Disk I/O error.
The W2K CD-ROM boots up OK in another computer, so it's
not the CD. Please advise.
