Hi

I have a CD-RW drive which previously worked no probs
under XP Home using XPs native recording software.
Now 'write files to disc' is no longer an option and if I
right click on drive properties there is no recording tab
to enable me to select 'enable CD-recording'.

I have checked the registry and it is correctly
identified in drive type as a CD-RW.

I have also checked that the IMAPI CD-burning service is
running and it is.

I have gone to the manufacturer's website to check for a
driver download but I was informed that it works with XPs
native drivers.

I have removed the drive and the secondary IDE channel
(that it is on) and rebooted. It is found no problem but
still there is no recording tab.

Thanks for following so far...

I have now completly run out of ideas and would really
appreciate some help.

Thanks in advance.
