When my computer crashed, I was able to download data to
a CD using Iomega software. I purchased the home
edition of Win XP, which has a CD burner.
Unfortunately, the Win XP burner does not recognize the
data backed on Cd with the Iomega software. Even though
I have the data, I cannot access it without installing
Iomega software to read this CD. I don't want to
install another CD writer software when the one included
with Win XP is meeting my needs quite well. Please help
me with a way to access my data on the Iomega backed up
CD's using the writer with Win XP.

Thank you.....

Sadly. most proprietary software will not allow you to access data from
other software. You're probably going to have to re-install the Iomega
stuff to get to you data.
