I'm using XP Professional with SP2 and media player 11. I can't burn 130MB
of wma music files onto a CD-R which says 700MB/80Min, because the total
length of time of the songs is 90Min. Is there a way around this?

Sure. Burn as a data CD not a music CD. That way the files are not
transformed into .wav's prior to burning.
