CD-R/RW DRIVE

I have a LG CD burner (GCE-8523B), after i install Roxio
CD recording software the e:\ disapper and I can't get
it back. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and even
obtaining driver from the LG website, it does not work.
This is what the error message say "Windows cannot load
the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be
corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" Please Help
