CD-R disk capacity reached prematurely

Hi all
Have copied approx. 100mb amount of photos onto a 700mb, CD-R, capacity
disk, successfully. But, on three different disks, when attempting to add
additional photos, the disk tells me there is no longer any free space. I
tried a fourth disk which worked fine with normal results. I apparently have
inadvertantly made an incorrect change in disk properties. Any helpful
response appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you already have photos/files on the CD-R? If so you cannot add any. You
would need to use RW to add files at different times.

You can append files to a CD-R. It is important that you create the
CD as multi-session disk first, and do not close the disk first. When
adding new sessions, there is normally an option to import previous
sessions in which case the new directory points to both new and old
files. With UDF disk, it is logically possible to delete files - even
though the data still remains.

Each CD writing program works slightly differently, but multi-session
CD-Rs are possible. You do not require CD-RW.
