In Windows Explorer in the left pane, my CD label correctly shows the name
of the first cd that was read after a reboot. No matter what CD I put in
there, it still shows the label of the first CD although the files are
accurate in the right pane.

I have pressed f5 and selected view/refresh; I right clicked on the Drive
letter and selected properties and it still shows the label of the first CD
that it read; I also did this from "My Computer." The only way to get it to
say the proper CD label is to reboot.

Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You very much

Kevin

Thank You Rock for the link.

Unfortunately, the problem described in the link is the reverse of my
problem. It describes a problem where the left pane updates correctly but
the right pane still shows the files from the previoius CD.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thank You

Kevin

May or may not help, attached is a registry comparison of before and after a disk
is in the tray.

I do see that this key is added/deleted:

Sorry that didn't help. I don't have any other suggestions.
