If I attach a scsi 100 disc cd-jukebox to a Windows 2000
server, can I access each of the discs as a seperate
share without using a third party program ?

thanx

These CD jukeboxes usually have 3 or more drives inside that load the discs
one at a time as needed. You can set the drives up as a share, but I've
never seen a way to set the individual discs up as shares.

Probably depends on the supplied driver. Check the manufacturer's
website for details...if available.

I have an old NEC Multispin 4X jukebox that hangs off an old Adaptec
AF294x SCSI controller card. Works fine with W2k. HOWEVER...each of the
7 slots has a different SCSI ID, and a unique drive letter...

I'd hope by now (10 years later) the manufacturers have gotten around
the fixed-drive-letter-per-slot problem.
