Open the Help and Support Center and read this article: To erase files from
a CD.

      28th Sep 2005
pop the CD-R/W disc into the CD Writer drive. Right click the drive icon and
select Erase. IIRC the command is not visible unless there is a CD-R/W disc
in the drive.
