Hi,

A friend of mine burned photos to a CD in her laptop. Now,
everytime that I insert the CD into another computer to see those
photos, the CD Drive appears to be empty, nothing appears and I know
the pictures are there because that happened once with other CDs that
she also burned and the problem had to do with the fact that she used
an unusual program to record the files, its just that I dont remember
what program did my friend used or how to change or convert the files
that I cant see, to a more common format. She's traveling now, I cant
reach her and I need the photos urgently. I will truly appreciate any
help you can provide me.

Obviously she didn't "close" the "burning session" -- which is why you are
having trouble viewing the files on another CD drive. Try and "close" the
session on another compatible CD drive when you will be able to see the
files on your own computer. Hope somebody can come up with a more practical
solution for you but it seems to me that you are well and truly stuck with
this problem.

InCD is the Nero add-on that allows later additions to the CD being burnt
but which can cause such incompatibility problems.

You probably just need a UDF reader. Available free.

Free...Adaptec UDF Reader Driver 5.1.1.213
http://download.com.com/3000-2100-9497911.html

Reboot after installing the driver and then try reading the CD.
