I run a VAIO SZ, XP Pro SP2, CD/DVD Matsushita.

Suddenly, CD/DVD is not recognized by "Roxio CD Creator".

Tried "Click to DVD" and got foll box :

For your guidance I clicked the Click to DVD and got foll box :

Another application is already using the video hardware overlay.

Please close the application and start it again.

If there is no open application playing back video, the display settings may be incorrect.

The desktop screen resolution or monitor refresh or may set too high.

Furthermore after some 2 minutes got the initial screen with foll remark ;

Cannot detect the drive or the power is off.

Check that the drive is connected to the computer and turn on.

I am using resolution 1280 x 800 but when clicked to get the back up disks the resolution automatically decreases.

The drive was refreshed by me two times.

I deleted in Task Manager my entire personal program drives, useless.

Uninstalled CD/DVD driver and reinstalled, useless.

At the moment, I cannot burn any disk.

Does such situation happen with you ?

If so, please assist me
