I bought a new computer about 6 months ago, with Window's Vista on it. A few
days ago, I decided to install an older DOS game on it. The computer froze
when I inserted the CD in the drive, and now all programs stop responding if
a CD, DVD, or any disk is in the drive. I haven't downloaded any third-party
programs, and have done multiple virus and adware scans, all negative. Does
anyone know what is happening and how, if possible, it can be fixed?
