What printers that can print on CDs or DVDs are sold in the USA
these days? Are the Cannons still sold in Europe only? Is there a
web site that lists and compares CD/DVD printers? Thank you in
advance for all replies.

I am TERRIBLY cruel to my cat. I tease him with a vine tendril
until he either jumps up in the air to bat at it or zooms around
in a circle until he gets too dizzy to stand up. What is cruel about
it is that I don't do it nearly as much as he wants me to.

Check out the Epson Stylus Photo printers. I have an R300 and it
prints on my DVDs very well...

The Epson R200 and R300, and maybe the R800 all have this feature. I
also believe the Epson 2200 made it available free of charge once the
licensing issues were worked out in North America.

The R200 is under $100 with rebate.

I have no cat to be terribly cruel to. My neighbor's cats are terribly
cruel to us by attacking the birds we help feed. The cats are well
enough fed that they could leave the birds alone, but it doesn't seem to
be in their nature. They appear to be terribly cruel by nature. ;-)

I am afraid that I do not understand what you mean by: "the Epson
2200 made it available free of charge once the licensing issues were
worked out in North America."

What is free of charge, the use of the patent for cd printing,
something else?

Nature is cruel by nature. Cats are genetically programmed to hunt
and kill. Someone once told me that she had a female cat that acted
fine until it had kittens. Then it started killing and dragging
home Jack Rabbits for her kittens. The Rabbits were bigger than she
was.

We used to have a bird feeder that was about four feet off the
ground and had bushes near it. We occasionally saw cats jump up at
the feeder and we often found evidence of a killed bird (feathers).
Now we have a feeder that is about five and a half feet up with no
bushes around. We have never seen a cat jump up at it and we have
found feathers only once in seven years. (My cat is indoor only.)
