My CD/DVD drive seems to have picked up a problem somewhere. It will not read any type of disc, it spits them out almost as soon as they are put in.

Can anyone suggest any solution. If I use the "reload" disc will it clear whatever the problem is? I'd like to avoid this course as obviously I would lose all my work.

Many thanks.

Derek, rt click MyComputer>Select Prop>Hardware>Dev Manager. Go to
Dvd/Cdrom drives and rt click each drive and
choose uninstall. Select Ok and Restart.
