I have a Win XP MCE 2005 computer. Recently I was clearing unwante
programs from the add/remove screen and the next day i noticed tha
none of my CD drives accessable. I have two physical cd drives and tw
virtual drives. I could not see them in My Computer or Alcohol 120.
During the reboot I saw that the regular CD drives were bein
recognized but they were not there when the boot up was finished.
Also, whatever happened has screwed up system restore and Norton Syste
Works 2006 Pro. System restore and NSW windows comes up blank. I hav
rebooted, tried to uninstall NSW, booted to safe made and restore
deleted files.

Can anyone help get my CD drives back???

Go to www.dougknox.com Select WinXP Fixes and scroll down the
right column to Restore CD/DvD drives to
Explorer.
