CD Drive wont refresh

When i put a new CD in my CD Drive no matter how much i
refresh the CD Drive it still shows the contents of CD
that was previously in the CD Drive. I have even tried to
reinstall XP and tried 2 new CD Drives and the problem
wont go away.
Any help appreciated.
