CD Drive Vanishes!

I'm using Windows XP Pro. My LG CD-ROM drive vanishes in the middle of
process (when copying/reading).

Detect Hardware helps sometime. Otherwise i have to restart my system.

Other CD/ CDR drives works fine ( i tried).

Anybody got the same problem? Is there any workaround?
