CD Drive

I just installed a program from a CD so I know my CD
drive is working. After taking that CD out of the drive I
put another CD in it that I had burned some graphics
onto. I then went to 'my computer' then clicked on my CD
drive to view the graphics and I kept getting a message
telling me to insert a CD. I don't understand why it's
not recognizing the CD that is in the drive. Can someone
help me with this please?
