CD Drive not working

Hi

Can anyone shed some light here. I am having a problem
with my CD rive. I have been trying to copy files on to
a disc. It copyied nearly all then suddenly gave up and
said there was no disc in the drive.

I have checked that the disc was not full. Have put a
new disc in but it will not recognise it.

What I am doing wrong?

Have looked in the sytems to see if there are any error,
but it says the device is working properly.

Hope somone can advise.
