CD Drive keeps disappearing when CD's are inserted.

Hi, my CD drive will work fine, until it will
suddenly "disappear" from view when I put a new CD in.
It's not just one particular CD it has problem with, but
happens in what appears to be a random way. I get the
following Error message in my System Event Viewer every
time. Any ideas?
