hi i recently installed win 2k and i have a matshita
ujda710 cd combo drive. Win 2k picked it up and installed
it but i couldn't see a blank cd. It would just say please
insert a disc. so i then installed the driver that can
with it and this gave the same problem. I had xp on the
machine and this worked perfect

John, did you direct the installation of the driver to the Win2K driver on
the CD? I find that often you have to show XP
where to look for the appropriate driver and not let it do it
automatically.
