hello,
my cd rom drive has stopped reading cds all of a
sudden. when i put a cd in the green light comes on and
then goes off and nothing happens. then i go to my
computer and the cd drive icon isnt there. also my cd
writer drive doesnt seem to open. when i push the button
to open it nothing happens. i think these 2 cd drive
problems occured due to the rcp thing which i got fixed.
please help

Hi Emma
do you know if there is a cd still in cdrw? Try rebooting
computer while holding button in to open cdrw, do not let
go of button untill drawer opens and you can get cd out
if there is one in it or when you get to desktop. When cd
gets stuck when recording goes bad sometimes drive will
not work until it is removed.
