CD Drive acting weird

I just recently changed my motherboard. Every now and then, my CD Drive's
(Samsung DVD/CD-RW) light keeps on blinking. On rare occasions, it opens on
its own. When I open it and close it, the light stops blinking. But sometimes
even after I open and close it, the light continues blinking. There's nothing
inside the CD Drive.

Please help, thanks in advance.
