CD Data Recording

I have not been able to burn data or music CD's. What services need to be
running? How come my os just stopped burning? Error messages come up and
my blank cd is ruined. I have an cd-rw and have not been able to record on
CDR or CDRW.

Try burning at 8x or even 4x, and see what happens.
