When I try to copy files to CD-R or RW using Windows, I
get the error message "Files on this CD are read only.
Can not copy files to this cd. When I used Easy CD
Creator, (Roxio) I get "Burning Engine not detected."

Any Suggestions?

I just had loads of problems because of easycd. If you're on XP it can
cause problems. The problem you describe 'files on this cd read only' I
got when I tried to burn to a disc written in a different programme.
