When you look at changers on the Xp Compatability List you find only tape
units and and expensive external CD library tower type devices. I have two
internal changers that worked under W98 but are not on the Xp list and
obviously are not supported as thay show up as single drives when installed.
They are an NEC 251 and Panasonic SQ-TC512N. It is not a matter of drivers
either as Forums are full of descriptions of the same problem. Seems that if
it is not on the list it really does not work.

So I am looking to purchase a "NEW" Xp compatable internal 4 or 5 CD
changer. However, I can not find a single manufacturer currently making one.
I find this hard to believe. Does anyone out there know of such a unit? Any
assistance will be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Bob. Most of this software allows drive assignments and at the price
on HD storage it makes sense.

And the original CD gets to be safely stored as a side benefit!
