Hello,

First off, did the computer come with any CD burning
software like Easy CD Creator by Roxio or Nero Burning
Rom? If so, then use that program to burn CDs. Follow
the manual, if they manufacturer gave you one, or the
help files to burn a CD. If you don't have one of those
types of programs, reply back.

I have a eMachines T2865, and it came with Cheesy CD Creator. I bought an
eMachines T2692 for my mom, and it did not come with any software. Naturally, I
installed Nero 6 on both of them, and uninstalled the Roxio crap.
In other words, if your eMachines is one of the low-end models, then it probably
did not come with software. You can use XP's built-in burning capabilities, but
it is limited. Your best bet is to invest in Nero. http://www.nero.com/

All you need to do is track down files and right click
and send to cd drive or click burn to audio cd option.
When you have gotten everthing you want then you should
have a bubble on bottom right of your screen saying you
have thing waiting to copy to cd. Just click on bubble
and go from there.
