CD burning files to be written

Any ideas on how to delete the files waiting to be
written. Access denied in use bla blah blah. Went to
local folder and CD burn etc and still can't delete. Also
deleted the HKLU \MS\CCS\explorer folder\cd burning key.
Still no good. Some idiot was trying to burn their
windows folder and the font folder.I tried in safe mode
and as admin. XP home
