CD burner wont recognize blank discs

's Computer Specifications

my cd burner used to recognize blank discs but since i ran out of that brand
of discs, it hasnt been able to recognize them anymore when i go to burn
something. Nothing is supposedly wrong with the drive, but it wont recognize
any blank cds. How can i get it to recognize them again so i can burn cds?

What OS are you using? XP, ME or WIN2000? I can't get any brand to burn.

I THINK I HAVE A BURNER BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO WORK IT
