Hi all,

We have windows XP english(core) installed on all PC in our enterprise, with
french MUI (Multilingual User Interface) also installed to allow French user
interface.

This works well until we need to install some HP products with French
interface. The issue is that these CDs will not permit any language selection
during installation, but it will autodetect the system language itself, then
install in the language it detects. In our case, it detects english language,
because that is the core, and we have no way to select the french option.

We talked to HP, who confirmed they have no option to force their autorun to
install in any preferred language, so the only option is to change the system
language to lead the autorun to select the language you want. For this trick,
they recommend us to talk to Microsoft.

So I'd apprecciate any expert help/tips here on how to change an english XP
core system to make it appear as French core so that the HP autorun will
install in French ? There appears to be only a few files you need to replace
(according to HP), but they did not offer to identify which ones !

Thank you in advance.
