My computer has a CD-RW Rom and a DVD Burner (these are 2
seperate drives) Yesterday when I went into my computer
both drives had disappeared? The are fuctioning (turning
on and opening and closing) and I did not remove them
recently they just stopped working. I tried uninstalling
them and reinstalling them through device manager. When I
do that it says that it was unable to fully install due to
errors. When I go into device manager both Drives have a
yellow (!) next to it and it says it is not working
properly. Can anyone help before I go crazy??

(There are other ways to get the bad registry keys than by doing an upgrade
installation of XP. Some involve bad behavior of Roxio's Easy CD Creator.)
