Can somebody please explain why my cd and dvd drives won't recognize music
discs when i put them in. They seem to work occasionally but at the moment if
i put a music cd in either drive it won't recognize them. Can anybody help??

Doesn't work. This has been a long standing problem, not a recent thing. I've
tried updating the drivers etc. but it doesn't make any difference. They just
seem to stop working for no reason.
