Mine is Windows XP with SP2 PC.

I have LG CD RW and recently I bought SONY DVD RW.

Now I am facing a very peculiar problem.

I cannot play my CD RWdisc from my CD Drive (which I could do previously)
but can play the same from DVD RW Drive.

Again I cannot play DVD RW disc from my DVD Drive.

Can somebody please tell me the reason for this peculiar problem and
possible solution to overcome this.

Does your DVD/RW icon change to saying CD/RW when you put a CD in the DVD?
[Look in My Computer while putting a CD into the DVD player.]
If so, physically disconnect the CD/RW cables inside the computer, and try
again.
Fixed? Hardware conflict.
