Recently, both my CD and DVD burners setup under Windows XP Home Edition
SP-2 Stopped burning DVDs or CDs with out any visible, Errors etc reasons.
Sounds like something Lock the Burning eye.
When start the burn.. the Drive both in CD or DVD mode is showing the
blinking Light (burn signals).. no Errors or sounds, looks and timing as
everything going Normal as always..
The Drives in particule Master on 2nd Port are only and often use.. but both
they only a few months old and works always without any problems.
However, the drives still read and Play the CD or DVD or DVD9 but with out
reasons Stop burn both CDs or DVD and only Simulate the Burn!
I use Roxio Easy Media Creator ver 7.5 as my favorite from 10 years.. never
have problems as others I hear about... work flawlessly.
Before.. it start two weeks ago I swith from Windows XP Home Edition OEM
which originally come with my Machine..
to I brough and install Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Full release with
build-in SP-2 (Update/Upgrade/No any Windows etc) for $178.50
First week since all going fine untill I have to check on my Backup on CD
done just day before to find that the CD is Blank and Empty!
Yes Blank.. no any remarks and ready to use as the system state!
This let me to know the lasser just ddn't burn and the backup I already
delete (nad lost).
Well.. I got to going to Test now..
trying to burn a dummy files and result was showing the same.
The CD disk left untouched Empty and the Simulation was follows and show
like the burn process going fine!
Need Help, Advice any Tip or whatever takes to get this product back to work.
