When I power down my system I get an error headed ccsvchst.exe and then I
need to turn off the system with the power switch. How do I eliminate this
error so I can power down properly.

Thanks.

It a Symantec (Norton) process/service
"Symantec Service Framework"
Location is most likely:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccSvcHst.exe

Most likely you are you running Norton Anti-Virus software.
Open Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del keys)
Click on the Processes tab, you should see one or more of the ccSvcHst.exe
processes running.

There is a long series of threads on this and similar problems associated
