How do I let Defender to allow ccSetMgr.exe and other process from Symantec
Antivirus to run?

In WD. Select Tools>Options >Advanced Options. In `Do not scan these files or
locations` select the `Add`button and navigate to `ccSetMgr.exe` - Select the
file and the `Save`button. Next time you run WD this file will be ignored.

Oops! What I posted was scanning. For SU - WD Tools>Options >Real Time
Protection Options>Choose If WD Defender Should Notify You About ......
