CCleaner has updated to version : 2.01.507

What's New[28 Sep 2007]
CCleaner v2.01
- Fixed bug where some IE Temporary files were not removed.
- Fixed bug with IE7 Recently Typed URLs cleaning.
- Fixed C++ exception on Desktop shortcut scanning.
- Installer now works on 64-bit OS Recycle Bins menus.
- Optimized IE Temp files cleaning speed.
- Improved index.dat cleaning on XP.
- Fixed Registry Cleaner as "Fix All" sometimes wouldn't work.
- Keyboard shortcuts now work correctly in Registry section.
- Files winsys.ini and winreg.ini are now embedded in the EXE.
- Fixed bug where Autoupdate check could cause an exception.
- Fixed minor bug in restoring screen position and size.
- Lots of internal improvements to reliability and speed.
- Minor UI tweaks.

They seem to have taken down the "slim" builds for a while now.
These I prefer and will wait until they're back up.
Don't want any more bloatware on my machine than necessary.

can't you just uncheck what you do not want when it is installing? that is
what i do

I uninstalled CCleaner 2.0 because it was deleting my Run history, even
though that option was unchecked. Has that glitch been fixed with the
latest release?

Here is the only setting that i always had checked in advanced - old
prefetch data
untill today after reading how the prefetch files really work :

wait a sec in the last one you could take the check off for the yahoo tool
bar, you are telling me this version you cannot?

I took Yahoo TB off by unchecking it Robin, and it's not around here. I
just installed the new release last week from the "alternative" download
site.

For some reason i don't remember seeing anything about a Yahoo Tool Bar
this time. And also i uncheck all the boxes. Robin here's a fix - Delete
CCleaner and then use CCleaner to clean up the registry after itself. He-He.
