Has anyone used this software? I've read good and bad reviews but I would
like the opinions of the knowledgeable folk in this newsgroup. Thanks.

Been using it for years! I like it but recommend you make and keep backups
of the registry if you let CC Cleaner do its thing. I've found you must go
through the setup menus and carefully select/deselect items you want/don't
want the cleaner to handle.

Thanks, I'm trying it out now. Seems to be a nice little utility.

Many will recommend to not use the 'registry cleaner' function of CCleaner
because it can possibly do some damage.
If you are well experienced in the Registry, it can be a useful feature. If
not, don't use the registry cleaner function.
The other functions of CCleaner are highly recommended.
