Hi All,

Is there a way to limite the size of the Vista System File Checker output
files, CBS.log and CBS.persist.log that keep going up every day (20Meg and
51Meg respectively on my system) ? Thanks for help.

The CBS.persist.log is generated when CBS.log gets to be about 50MB in size.
CBS.log is copied to CBS.persist.log and a new CBS.log file is started when
certain programs are run, e.g. sfc. It should be safe to delete the
CBS.persist.log as it is probably at least a couple of weeks old and is no
longer useful.

Thank "BurrWalnut "

I did it. It turned O.K
I had to do it in safe mode since Vista sems to keep these files opened
permanently until logoff.
