Beware: your batch files will not run after installing
this beta product, and I found no way to allow them to do
so.

I tried to configure (and re-configure, and re-re-
configure!) the appropriate Agent settings to allow my
batch files to run, to no avail.

I also waited in vain for an opportunity to flag a
particular batch file as OK to run when Mr. Beta stopped
it, again to no avail.

I uninstalled this product and will continue to use
Yahoo's AntiSpy until I see a production version of MS
Antispyware.

Not sure why your Batches aren't running, but I quite
happily run some very complex Batches and Scripts on my
machine (XP Pro SP2), AntiSpyware just gives the
obligatory, are you sure dialog.

Perhaps, it's the combination of MS and Yahoo Spyware
technologies that conflict.

I have had huge problems with Yahoo anything on various
machines over the years and generally cringe when people
say they have a Yahoo product installed, and experience
generally shows that it's the Yahoo products at fault.

Try Uninstalling Yahoo's AntiSpy clean your registry and
then retry installing MS, I think you'll be surprised
when you get it working, I have Spybot and Adaware
installed, but MS still found more that they had both
missed.

Thanks. I'll do more research. I was never able to get to
the point where I could allow certain files to run. There
must be more to this problem.
