caution sign icon in yellow on the bottom of my pc screen

keeps saying system has critical errors...i have spyware but it keeps
bringing up spyware to buy...how do i get rid of this icon?

Right-click on icon and see what application it is.

That's a scan message to get you to buy the program and might have malware

Oops, that should read, "scam message" not scan message.

No, not at all. That feature of both IE7 and FF2 is for fake bank pages
and other fake pages that want you do fill in your personal data like
your credit card number. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and Spybot Search
and Destroy are designed to stop picking up the malware.
