Outlook hesitates after a few seconds of response and then resumes normal
activity for a few more seconds and then hesitates again, and again. It's
almost unusable with this kind of response.

What do you need to know? It's MSO 2007 and running VISTA. No problems with
any other software (all usual suspects: XL, Word,...).

Installed the update, but it didn't fix delay problem, though after rebooting
it did improve. However, my cursor still vanishes on the outlook page, but if
I move it to the side it re-appears as sson as it crosses the Outlook border.
If I move it back onto Outlook: zip! It's gone. Wait a few seconds and
whatever I have inputed into the buffer appears on the screen. I am stumped.
